No.1 Georgia (8-0)

Georgia could have a historically excellent defense, as the Bulldogs have allowed just 56 points in eight games, including back-to-back shutouts against SEC enemies Vanderbilt and Arkansas. The Bulldogs rode again in Week 7, beating the previously undefeated No.11 Kentucky 30-13.

No.2 Cincinnati (8-0)

Next game: 3:30 p.m. ET, Saturday, November 6 vs. Tulsa (TBD)

The Bearcats recently beat Tulane, pulling away from the Green Waves in the second half to win 31-12. The Navy didn’t make it easy in Week 8, as Cincinnati escaped with a 27-20 road win. The contenders recovered a back kick with a minute to go, but Arquon Bush secured the win with an interception. It was the Bearcats’ first single possession victory this season.
