Seo Kang Joon shared one final update for fans ahead of his military enlistment!
On November 18, Seo Kang Joon broadcast a live show on Instagram where he proudly said, âI’m going! In order to fulfill my military duty, which every healthy Korean must do, I will soon become a soldier. I wanted to share my last farewell before enlisting.
As his show took place on the same day as the 2022 University Academic Aptitude Test (CSAT), Seo Kang Joon asked his viewers, âI wonder if there is anyone here who has taken the CSAT. It has been exactly 10 years since I wrote it. After the end, I had the strong feeling of âI crossed a river that will not returnâ. I remember really regretting not being able to say ‘I took the test with no regrets because I prepared so well.’ “
He continued, âI also felt empty. The CSAT ends your life in elementary, middle and high school. I had a lot of worries about “What do I need to do to get ahead?” However, CSAT isn’t everything in life. Even for those with regrets, it’s over anyway, so don’t stress yourself out too much and I hope you have the rest of your 20s. You have worked hard to prepare for the CSAT.
The actor also commented on his short haircut, saying, âHonestly, I wanted to cut my hair like this for a while, but I’m cutting it now because I have the opportunity. I’m happy. do you think? “
One fan asked, âCan’t you go? Seo Kang Joon replied lightly, âI can’t. I would be in big trouble. He added: âAs this is my first time joining, I felt really scared and lost at first, but I feel more comfortable now. I don’t know if you’ll believe me but I’m even excited. I started to think, âWhat kind of people will I meet and what kind of lifestyle will I live for a year and a half? What kind of life am I going to live? ‘ I basically use it as a resolution every day.
Seo Kang Joon shared, âI am also preparing to become a morning person. I started to sleep a little earlier. These days, I sleep around 2 or 3 in the morning. They say you sleep around 10 p.m. in the army. Although it will not be easy, I think I will adapt once there. Humans are creatures of habit and I also adapt quickly. People around me said, âYou will be doing fine. Do not worry.’ I am not pathetic at all. I have the driving in this situation.
After explaining that he wasn’t going to bow to his parents because he didn’t want them to cry, Seo Kang Joon jokingly added, âMy older sister whom I don’t really like is not in Korea right now. I don’t think my sister will be able to see me leave, so I think I’ll text her once before I leave. It’s been a few months since I spoke to my sister. We are siblings, so we don’t talk often.
For the many fans who will miss him, Seo Kang Joon has made sure to promote his projects which will be released in the New Year. He explained: âThere were a few people who thought I was leaving without having filmed anything. I filmed “Grid” from Disney + [previously known as âZeroâ] and there is also the movie ‘Happy New Year’. I think they will be released early next year, so look forward to them.
Finally, he commented: âMore than anything, I hope you are in good health. I spend the end of my twenty years in a new place. When I return from my military duties, I will be in my thirties, and I am inwardly impatient to think, “Won’t there be more diverse images?” Since you are only your age once in a lifetime, I hope you live diligently, doing what you want. I will come back well, courageous and healthy.
Seo Kang Joon will enlist on November 23 as an active duty soldier. For security reasons and to prevent the spread of COVID-19, there will be no official event, and his location and time of enrollment will not be revealed.
