Search engine giant Google posted a doodle on Monday in solidarity with Filipino voters electing the country’s leaders today.
The doodle urges Filipinos to exercise their right to vote and make their voices heard.

Millions of voters will decide the next president, vice president, 12 senators, 300 lower house legislators and about 18,000 local offices, from mayors and provincial governors to local council seats across the country.
In view of this, Google is also helping to promote Comelec’s election day reminders via a hyperlink on the search homepage.
“It will redirect people to the Vote SAFE Philippines‘step-by-step voting guide that includes a reminder to observe health and safety protocols,’ Google said.
The search engine giant has previously released Philippines-centric or Philippines-related doodles to commemorate significant events and personalities in the country, such as Philippine Independence Day, Severino Reyes, Pacita Abad, Dolphy, among others. —Rosette Adel
