A native of Harrisburg, Pa., The four-star Westry attended Trinity High School in Camp Hill, Pa., Before competing for Sierra Canyon School.

According to the MaxPreps website, Hillcrest Prep posted a record 37-1 in the 2020-21 campaign. Another player on the Hillcrest Prep roster is 2022 center Duke Brennan.

We recently wrote a column about 6-foot-10 Brennan, an underrated physique tall man who allegedly heard about the Orange coaching staff.

Syracuse basketball target Chance Westry will be in Arizona for his final year of pre-ball.

Westry, who is universally regarded as a four-star prospect and a top 45 player in his class, recently paid an official visit to the Hill. He has made other official visits lately to Auburn, Nebraska and LSU too. There are also rumors online that Westry may be in line for a pro deal.

Westry is one of three 2022 leaders Orange is targeting. The other two are the four-star Quadir Copeland and JJ Starling from central New York.
