Alyse Anderson continues to build her reputation in the ONE Championship and one fight she is looking forward to seeing is the title match between ONE Women’s World Atomicweight Champion Angela Lee and Ham Seo Hee.
No official announcement has yet been made regarding the title match, but Anderson is already looking forward to the match.
In an interview with Dylan Bowker for ONE Championship, Anderson said Lee will always be the one dictating the contest.
Alysse Anderson mentioned:
“I think Angela is just going to do what she always does best, I just don’t see anyone in the division right now, even in the top five, who is going to be able to stop her. You can kind of see how it went with the Grand Prix and everything.
“Unstoppable” was a literal personification of his moniker in the atomweight division running through the opposition in dominant fashion. Lee holds a perfect 6-0 record in his atomweight title bouts with three of those wins by submission.
Lee’s last fight saw her submit ONE Women’s Atomicweight World Grand Prix Champion Stamp Fairtex with a vicious rear-end choke in the second round of the ONE X main event.
Alyse Anderson has all the love for Lee
Unlike Lee, Alyse Anderson is still building her name in the promotion.
The American fighter will face Asha Roka in her second fight in the promotion at ONE 157: Petchmorakot vs Vienot on Friday, which will be broadcast live from the Singapore Indoor Stadium.
Anderson said that while she’s still trying to make her way to the top five in the atomweight division, she’ll be happy to watch Lee from afar and even look up to the reigning atomweight queen.
‘Lil’ Savage’ loves how Lee has a family environment around his professional career. Lee learned martial arts from his parents, Jewelz and Ken, while his siblings Christian, Victoria and Adrian are also fighters. She added:
“I respect Angela, the fact that she trains with her family, it’s like a family sport. I think she’s a great champion and I hope to see her at the top of this fight [against Ham] also because she represents so well what a champion should be. I’m ready to sit back and respect as I build the ranks and eventually it will be my day.”
